About Me
Hello, my name is Rose Parker and I’m the face behind the Instagram page and podcast PsychosisPsositivity. I frequently write essays about my experiences with Schizophrenia as well as the science & philosophy of Psychosis, that I publish here & on Medium. I hold a BS with academic honors in Psychology and Medieval Studies. I have worked in biological research on neurodegenerative diseases as well as social science research on students with Psychosis. I have written published work on Psychosis and been an invited guest speaker on the subject multiple times. I have previously served on the Executive Board of the NGO Students With Psychosis, as well as an Advisor and as the facilitator for Discussion meetings.
I hope to change the treatment of Psychotic individuals through the education of the public and professionals about the true nature and reality of Psychosis. I believe that scientific research is one of our biggest resources in our fight for a better life.
